The Origin Story
Cosmic Dust started somewhere between the hedgerow and the BBQ. A few years ago, I started foraging. Nothing serious at first — just noticing what was growing on walks, picking a few blackberries, wondering what else I could do with them. One blackberry might be intensely sweet, the next mouth-puckeringly sharp. Different bushes. Different places. Different flavours.
That curiosity hooked me. What else can I do with this? Dry it. Grind it. Turn it into powder. Experiment. The same question followed me into spices — fruit powders, smoke, herbs, chillies — ingredients that could completely change a dish. The ones I was searching for were often expensive, hard to find, or scattered across half a dozen different shops.
Cosmic Dust grew from the idea that those ingredients deserved a home of their own — powders, spices and flavour-makers for people who are just as curious about food as I am.
Small particles. Massive flavour.
